Trademark Search + Strategy

$99.00

A trademark is the only way to own your brand name. Without a trademark, someone else can claim it and force you to rebrand.

This is the first step in the trademark process.

We’ll run our proprietary 20-point search to confirm your trademark is likely to be approved. Then we create a strategy to give you the best chance of approval.

Own your brand now before someone else claims it.

How It Works:

  1. Fill out a quick brand questionnaire.

  2. We perform a deep legal search and analysis.

  3. Receive your full strategy report within 2–3 business days.

I waited to trademark and lost my first brand

My first business was a CPG brand.

We were in hundreds of stores but I didn’t have the trademark.

Someone filed the trademark application before me and they legally owned the brand.

I had to rebrand everything in 30 days.

I’m here to make sure this doesn’t happen to you.

Trademark FAQs

  • A trademark is ownership of your brand name, logo, tagline, or product names

  • Once you have a brand name, trademarking is your next step.

    You should trademark before you:

    • invest in branding

    • invest in packaging

    • invest in product development

    • find a copacker

    • meet with investors

You need to be the first person to file a trademark application for your brand. Otherwise, you could lose it.

  • Unfortunately, this isn’t something you can DIY.

A real trademark search goes beyond Google or the USPTO’s search website.

You need to look for similar spellings, pronunciations, industries, etc.

We use a separate trademark database, a proprietary 20 point checklist, and our experience as top trademark attorneys to figure out whether your brand is likely to be approved.

  • I certainly wouldn’t!

Most trademarks are denied at first. Then you’ll need to submit amendments and legal arguments to try and convince the trademark office to approve you.

You’ll be waiting almost a year while you wait to find out whether you own your brand name.

It’ll save you time and money to work with a trademark attorney to make sure you have a great chance of approval. And that you don’t lose your brand to someone else.
